What the free tool processes

When you paste text into the free cleaner, detection and replacement happen locally in your browser. The original text is not sent to PII Cleaner’s server, stored in a database, or used to train a model.

What we receive

The free text workflow does not transmit the text you clean. Our hosting provider may process ordinary technical request data needed to deliver the website, such as an IP address, browser details, and request timestamps. We do not use that data to reconstruct or retain your pasted content.

Downloads and clipboard

Copy and download actions are performed by your browser. Downloaded files remain on your device unless you choose to share them elsewhere.

Paid features

Paid file, batch, team, and API features are not active in the current release. If they are introduced, this policy will be updated before launch to explain the relevant processing and payment providers.
